Of particular note is the world-premiere performance of "A Better Time Shall Come" by Christine Donkin - commissioned by i Coristi Chamber Choir.

Kleine Orgelmesse
Warm up your Sunday afternoon with a concert of classical music performed by A Joyful Noise – thursday choir. The highlight of the concert will be Joseph Haydn’s “Kleine Orgelmesse”. This centerpiece of this charming work is a sublime version of the Benedictus text sung by Edmonton soprano Isabel Davis.

New Orford Quartet with Cho-Liang Lin and Orion Weiss
On April 1, 2017 at 7:30pm at the Robertson-Wesley United Church, 10209 123 St the Edmonton Chamber Music Society presents a dream team of leading musicians from Canada’s major orchestras, the New Orford String Quartet will transport listeners to the romantic and atmospheric Impressionist Era with works by the most prominent French composers of the time.
They are joined by legendary Taiwanese-American violinist Cho-Liang Lin and sensational American pianist Orion Weiss.

Come and spend an afternoon of gorgeous choral music with Chorale Saint-Jean for their annual Spring Concert. In celebration of Canada’s sesquicentennial, the choir will present a mostly Canadian repertoire. The songs will take us on a journey across the country, paying tribute to our heritage as well as showcasing our contemporary Canadian composers. The Petit Chanteurs de Saint-Jean children’s choir will also be joining us on stage. This afternoon of music truly has something for every musical taste!

Oh Canada!<br> A Sesquicenennial Spring Celebration
Greenwood Singers celebrate Canada’s 150th Anniversary and the arrival of spring with Oh Canada! A Sesquicentennial Spring Celebration. The program will feature the music of Canadian composers, Healey Willan (“An Apostrophe to the Heavenly Hosts”), Ronald Hannah (“Song of Weeds”) and Stephen Chatman (An Elizabethan Spring) and arrangements of Canadian folk songs by Canadian composers, Keith Bissell, Harry Somers, and Donald Patriquin. The concert will include three madrigals for the coming of spring by the Elizabethan composer, Thomas Weelkes, and will close with selections from the iconic Canadian musical, Anne of Green Gables.

Our 15th Anniversary celebration will be a musical feast for the ears as we take our annual orchestral-work concert up a notch with a performance at the spectacular Winspear Centre. Music of Mozart for large choir, orchestra, and soloists will be paired with a variety of a cappella and accompanied selections, including the premiere of a newly commissioned work by Canadian composer Mark Sirett. We’ll be joined by our friends from Chronos Vocal Ensemble. Don’t miss this exciting milestone!

It’s a choir crawl! Back by popular demand, this concert takes you on a freeform journey between little-known Edmonton church venues along our city’s historic Church Street (96 St), ending up with a massed choir in the park.


Heaven & Earth
i Coristi Chamber Choir and Da Camera Singers team up to present a two-concert experience. On May 27 i Coristi will sing songs of Paradise, and on May 28 Da Camera will sing songs of nature and the earth, plus a joint performance at both concerts. Subscriptions include a ticket the May 27 concert, and a free ticket to the May 28 concert. Single tickets to Da Camera's May 28 concert can be purchased through the choir.

Voces Nordicae: Earth Call
The Edmonton International Choral Festival presents Voces Nordicae: Earth Call on Saturday June 3 at 8pm at All Saints' Anglican Cathedral, 10035 103 St NW.

Earth Call brings to light the United Nation’s global development goals through newly written music, film and images. The performance, which includes vocal improvisation and choreography, features photography by Kristina Junzell.

Tickets are $30 for Adults and $25 for Students and Seniors 65+, plus applicable fees.
